Are there sharks off Long Island?

-Yes there are a ton of Sharks off of Long Island, we see a few different species of sharks migrate through these waters and some that stay here year round. The most common sharks that we catch while fishing off of Long Island are Mako Sharks and Thresher Sharks.


What fish are common off Long Island?

- The Atlantic Ocean off of Long Island holds a ton of highly sought after fish species. On our Long Island Fishing charters we fish for Striped Bass, Dlounder, Fluke, Scup, Black Sea Bass, Tuna, Mahi Mahi and more!


What month is best for striped bass fishing?

- The Striped Bass fishing on Long Island especially near Freeport, NY is excellent pretty much every month from April all the way until December. The best time to catch huge trophy sized Striped Bass is probably in the fall. In late September and October is when we see most of our trophy stripers brought to hand. The summer months are a great time to target slot sized Striped Bass and also larger bass.
